One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers state, Tambari Sydney has spoken about the constitution of of PDP.
His statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of NEWS CENTRAL TV on Tuesday.
In the viral video that surfaced online, he said the PDP constitution states that when a governor is elected, he becomes the leader of the party and takes over everything in the state.
Sydney said Siminalayi Fubara is the Executive Governor of Rivers State and he has taken over anything that has to do with PDP in the state.
Here is what he said;
“When a governor is elected according to PDP constitution, he immediately inherits assets and liabilities of the party. He is the leader of the party and takes over anything whether structures, debts or facilities. He takes over anything that belongs to the party. Siminalayi Fubara is the Executive Governor of River State and he takes over anything that has to do with PDP in Rivers State”.
