According to a report from Daily Post, Chukwudumeme Onwamadike, also known as Evans, the notorious kidnapper, was re-arraigned in the Lagos High Court for the murder of two police officers and the attempted kidnapping of Chief Obianodo Vincent. Evans’ new lawyer, Chief Emefo Etudo, requested the court to consider his application for a plea bargain, stating that Evans had significantly changed during his time in prison.

Etudo explained, “Evans has earned an NCE in Economics, is currently studying Political Science at the National Open University, and has also learned welding and metal fabrication.” He proposed that Evans plead guilty to a new charge and serve a 14-year sentence concurrently with his existing sentences.
