Col. Joe Buccino (Ret.), former spokesperson for U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), offered his analysis on the fragile ceasefire between the United States and Iran during an appearance on the Fox News program America’s Newsroom from 6:46.
Buccino stressed that Iran’s military options are now significantly limited despite having a large conventional force. He stated, “Iran is very limited in what they can do militarily. They have a very significant ground force, but this is not a ground war. Their air defenses have been devastated and taken out almost entirely. Their naval fleet has been taken out almost entirely.”
Buccino further noted that the destruction of key military assets, particularly in the air and naval sectors, has severely restricted Iran’s capacity to project power beyond its borders.
The comments come at a time when the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran remains delicate, with both sides attempting to avoid further escalation while maintaining strategic pressure. Read_More…
