During an interview from 4:03 on Arise Television, Dr. Adefolaseye Adebayo, Southwest coordinator of the Obi-Kwankwaso movement, spoke on the growing political support surrounding Peter Obi.

Adebayo argued that Obi continues to enjoy widespread popularity across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, dismissing suggestions that his political relevance or regional influence has declined.

She made reference to recent developments involving the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), highlighting what she described as a surge in participation following Obi’s political moves.

She added that the development reflects strong grassroots support, suggesting that political alignments involving Obi continue to attract significant public interest and engagement.

According to her, “I would like to say that Mr. Peter Obi has a lot of followership in various parts of Nigeria in the six geopolitical zones. He cannot say that the chances of Mr. Peter Obi or the chances of the Southeast have reduced drastically.
