The former senator pointed out that Gates could have chosen to focus his efforts and resources on other poorer nations in Africa, Asia, or Latin America, but he opted to continue his support for Nigeria. Sani urged Nigerians to discard the various conspiracy theories, doubts, and negative narratives surrounding Gates and instead appreciate him for being a true friend to the country in both good and challenging times.
