Chinedu Eze, a commercial driver, has made some revelations on how he became an ex-convict.
He narrated how a client boarded his vehicle and got involved in an altercation with officers of the Nigerian Police Force at the checkpoint, which resulted in their collective arrest.
However, the ex-convict, Chinedu Eze, recounted how they were being kept in police detention and brutally tortured.
He also revealed that the policemen approached and requested his help after his client gave up the ghost as a result of the torture.
Following this development, the police officers asked him to bear false witness against the escort of the late individual, which he abruptly refused, unknown to him that his refusal would bring about dire consequences.

In a swift turn of events, he was arraigned at the court, where he was accused of murder. He tried defending himself, but all to no avail.
He was therefore sent to jail for fourteen years over a crime he never committed, and even before his release, his fiancée had moved on to marry another man and had given birth to four children.
