The founder of Anap foundation and Anap jet, Atedo Peterside has reacted after a report showed that Gabon pays the sum of N376,500 and Equatorial Guinea pays N323,878 as minimum wage.

In a report that StatiSense titled, “Minimum Wage Of Top Oil Producing African Countries In Naira”, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea top the list.

Reacting to the report, Atedo Peterside said that the negotiation between the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Federal Government will be difficult. In the post that he shared on his official page, he said by subsidizing Hajj with N90 billion and purchasing SUVs, the federal government has given an impression that it is rich.

Atedo Peterside wrote on his official page;

“The Nigerian minimum wage negotiations were going to be unnecessarily difficult because FG “poisoned” the atmosphere for responsible negotiations by approving a reckless N90bn Hajj Subsidy, Luxury SUVs for Legislators etc thereby creating the false impression that FG was rich”….Sée Móre
