The former spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, has reacted to the power failure in the North and other areas of the nation.

In the post that surfaced online, Hakeem Baba Ahmed has broken his silence regarding concerns over his perceived inaction on issues affecting the North, specifically the prolonged power outage in the region.

He expressed humility in the face of widespread regret over his silence, reassuring sincere critics that he remains passionate and committed to addressing these challenges.

Ahmed emphasized that he’s doing his best to make a positive impact and hopes others will follow suit.

“I am humbled by the outpouring of regrets over my’silence’ over matters affecting the North, particularly the prolonged absence of power in the region. For those who are sincere, I would only say I am still passionate and concerned, doing the best I can, and wishing others are too”.
