The Former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has urged Nigerian to forgive the House of Rep member, representing the good people of Aba South and North Federal Constituency of Abia State, Hon Alex Ikwechegh, after he pleaded with Nigerians, to forgive him for assaulting a Bolt driver.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Tuesday evening, while reacting to the report. He went on and made it known that both Christian and Muslim religions preach forgiveness.
Senator Shehu Sani wrote: “The Abia Rep asked for forgiveness for his conduct. He should be forgiven. That is the recommendation of all religions.”
It should be recalled that a certain video recently went viral on social media platforms. On the said video, the member representing the good people of Aba South and North Federal Constituency, Hon Alex Ikwechegh, was seen assaulting a Bolt driver in Abuja. Shortly after that, the lawmaker came out and asked Nigerians to forgive him.
