Asari Dokubo, a former president of the Ijaw Youths Council worldwide, has given his take on the scrapping of the Niger Delta Development Committee (NDDC).

According to reports, the current administration led by Bola Tinubu had scrapped the Niger Delta ministry, NDDC, and replaced it with the Ministry of Regional Development.

This move by the presidency sparked mixed reactions amongst Nigerians, as some condemned it while others expressed their support for it.

However, during an interview with Arise News, Asari Dokubo also condemned the scrapping of the Niger Delta Development Committee (NDDC).

Nevertheless, he expressed his unending support for Bola Tinubu, narrating how the president had supported him when he was buried alive by the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

According to the video, “Even if he comes out tomorrow, I will still do it because at the time when General Olusegun Obasanjo buried me alive, he stood by me.”.
