Austin Opara, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, has alleged that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike betrayed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and all those who supported him in 2015.

He stated that Wike’s emergence as governor in 2015 was a result of the collective effort of many individuals, including former First Lady Patience Jonathan and Prince Secondus. He expressed disappointment and frustration that Wike no longer acknowledges the contributions of those who helped him rise to power.

He said in an interview with Channels TV from 14:47, ”If it is a matter of betrayal, I can tell you clearly that Wike betrayed PDP and betrayed all of us. We all played major roles in his emergence in 2015, and he knows it. But today, all you hear is that he is the governor, and he was the governor, and nobody made him. But we all were part of making him, aside from God, first, the next person is the former first lady, Patience Jonathan, and another is Prince Secondus, and then we are at the next level. But what is his relationship with all those people today?”
