In a recent interview from 42:15 from shared by TVC News, former member of the House of Representatives, Oghene Egoh, spoke on the political journey of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his long-standing presidential ambition.

Egoh highlighted Tinubu’s patience and strategic approach within Nigeria’s political structure, noting that his ambition to lead the country dates back over two decades. According to him, “Tinubu has had his ambition to be president for over 20 years, but he kept it low to respect the zoning process.” He added that Tinubu played a significant role in political decision-making during critical moments in the nation’s history.

The former lawmaker further explained that Tinubu supported the emergence of former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015, despite the fact that the presidency had recently been held by a Southerner, former President Goodluck Jonathan.
