Former Governor Nyesom Wike has spoken about his political dispute with his successor, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, in Rivers State. Wike emphasized that no one can intimidate him.

In a live coverage by Symfoni TV from 0:36, Wike said that he will do anything he wants to do regardless of Governor Fubara’s ethnic background as an Ijaw man.

Speaking about the possibility of Governor Fubara being impeached, Wike said that impeachment is a constitutional process and not a military coup

In Wike’s words: “You have talked about the crisis in the state, but let me tell everybody who cares that nobody can intimidate me. It doesn’t matter whether you go and bring thugs on the road. it doesn’t matter whether you are Ijaw, if I want to do something I will do it. Impeachment is not a military coup. It is provided under the constitution, I am not interested in all the rumours”
