Femi Fani-Kayode, a prominent Nigerian politician and former Minister of Aviation, has taken to his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter, to react to the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. This comes after reports earlier today from Arise Television and other news sources confirmed that Israeli forces identified Sinwar’s death through DNA and dental records following months of evasion.

In his tweet, Fani-Kayode expressed skepticism that Sinwar’s death would mark the end of the Palestinian resistance. He wrote, “Those that believe that the killing of Yahaya Sinwar is the end of the struggle for freedom, justice, and liberty in Palestine are mistaken. When you kill one member of the resistance, 1000 more will rise up.”

His comments reflect the ongoing tensions and the enduring struggle in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, emphasizing that despite the loss of key figures, the desire for justice and liberation among the Palestinian people remains resilient.
