One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio said people should eat free food wherever they see it.

Shehu Sani’s reaction was contained in a post that he shared on his official X account on Tuesday.

Reacting to the statement that was made, Shehu Sani said the comment of the Senate President suggests that he was only talking to his colleagues. He said Godswill Akpabio was not referring to Nigerians when he made the statement.

He said the statement of the Senate President was misrepresented.

Here is what Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his official X account;

“Senator Akpabio’s video suggests he was talking to his colleagues and not the generality of Nigerians where he was misinterpreted to have said wherever you see free food, eat it”.
