In a recent interview from 10:20 on TVC News, Dumebi Kachikwu, the disputed presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), spoke on the deepening leadership crisis within the party and alleged violations of court directives by rival factions ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the interview, Kachikwu stated, “They are disobeying a court order, and no one is speaking about this.” He made the remark while addressing ongoing disputes within the ADC, particularly allegations that a faction linked to David Mark and other political figures is continuing with party activities despite existing court orders restricting such actions.

Kachikwu explained that the ADC’s internal conflict is now a legal matter and should not be treated as routine political competition. He insisted that once a court issues a directive, all parties are expected to comply until the matter is fully resolved. According to him, any disregard for such orders undermines both party structure and democratic process.

The ADC chieftain maintained that the resolution of the crisis lies in strict adherence to judicial rulings, stressing that no faction has the authority to act unilaterally while the courts are still seized of the matter.
