Following several reports of looting that have emerged online, former Kaduna lawmaker and political commentator, Senator Shehu Sani has responded. The former Kaduna lawmaker condemned the act in a post that he shared on his official X account on Thursday.

On his page, Senator Shehu Sani mentioned that the Eastern part of the country has been quiet since the #EndBadGovernance protests started. He said the story has not been the same in other parts of the country. Shehu Sani stressed that in other parts of the country, people have been looting shops and government buildings. Moreso, he said hoodlums have also been on rampage snatching phones, burning offices and damaging street lights.

According to Shehu Sani on his official X account; “It’s all quiet on the Eastern front while shops and government buildings are looted in other parts of the country. Hoodlums snatching phones, burning offices, damaging traffic lights and looting shops are not peaceful protesters”….Sêe_Morē
