Gani Adams has warned that kidnappers and terrorists operating in Nigeria carefully monitor communities and exploit security weaknesses before launching attacks. He made the statement while reacting to the recent school abductions in Oyo State and the growing concerns over insecurity in different parts of the country.

Adams spoke during an interview from 3:56 on News Central TV, where he discussed the tactics being used by criminal groups involved in kidnappings and violent attacks. According to him, many of the attackers rely on surveillance and intelligence gathering to identify vulnerable locations before carrying out operations.

“They will make sure they study the environment and when they realize lapses, they will strike and move the people they kidnap to the bush or unknown destinations,” Adams said during the interview.

The Yoruba leader explained that such groups often take advantage of weak security presence, poor intelligence coordination and slow response times by authorities.
