The former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has stated that this is not the time for Nigerians to consider tribe before choosing the person that will lead the nation.
This statement was contained in a video from 1:35 that was posted on the official X handle of Trust TV on May 17, 2026.
He made the statement while explaining the reason why he agreed to work with the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
In the video that surfaced online, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso stated that the 2027 presidential election should be about someone who has the capacity to deliver good governance to the people.
