The Former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted after the Chairman of Dangote Industries Limited, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, said he will no longer continue with the plans to enter into steel industry, due to monopoly accusation leveled against him.

While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani urged Dangote to rescind his decision not to invest in the country’s steel industry, noting that his investment will create thousands of jobs for the Nigerian youths and will also help in the industrialisation of the country.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Monday afternoon, while reacting to the report. He went on and urged him not to listen to those accusing him of monopoly.

Shehu Sani wrote: “Dear Dangote, I know you are angry, but please rescind your decision not to invest in Nigeria’s steel industry. Your investment will create thousands of jobs for our young people and help in the industrialisation of the country. Don’t mind those old folks. Thank you.”

It should be recalled that it was recently reported that Aliko Dangote, made it known that he will no longer continue with plans to enter Nigeria’s steel industry.

Dangote’s threat comes two months after his company said it was making plans to invest in the steel industry and expand the economy. He went on and noted that the board decided to avoid the steel industry “to prevent accusations of being branded a monopoly”….Seë_Morë
