ADC chieftain Kola Ologbondiyan has revealed that a significant number of Peter Obi’s supporters have chosen to remain in the ADC even after Obi himself moved to a new party.
Speaking on Symfoni TV from 3:05, Ologbondiyan said, “There are people who are Obidients who have refused to leave the ADC till now. There are those who followed him from the Labour Party who have refused to leave the ADC even as we speak, and who are still engaged. There are those who feel they want to go with their boss, which is expected, but there are also those who are still saying that they believe this coalition will be better off than the individual entities. That is the situation,” he said.
He also dismissed Obi’s reference to toxicity within the coalition, noting that the claim was never backed with specifics.
According to him, the responsibility now falls squarely on the coalition’s most prominent figures.
