The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu has reacted after he saw a presidential convoy with six vehicles in the United State of America.
In the post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday, he said he was driving from Washington DC to Virginia when he was overtaken by a convoy that was carrying the President of a NATO member country.
He said after he was overtaken by the convoy, he observed there were only six vehicles. Kingsley Moghalu said in some places, that would be a Local Government chairman on the move, or perhaps a bank CEO or a well-to-do private business mogul permanently guarded by state-paid security personnel”.
Here is what Kingsley Moghalu wrote on his page;
“As I drove from Washington DC to Virginia last night after a meeting, I was overtaken by a convoy that I believed was carrying the President of a NATO member country. They were heading to Dulles International Airport after a summit of the world’s most powerful military alliance. I counted 6 vehicles, the front and real-end police vehicles, and the ambulance inclusive. I smiled at the thought of how modest this was. In some places, that would be a local government chairman on the move, or perhaps a bank CEO or a well-to-do private business mogul permanently guarded by state-paid security personnel”….Seë_Morë
