Nigerian politician, Kenneth Okonkwo has taken to his official X account on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 to tell President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to withdraw police officers from VIPs in Nigeria.
This came after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the withdrawal of police officers from VIPs in the country. According to report, the President made the decision in order to have more security operatives to secure the the people.
In the post that Kenneth Okonkwo shared on his page, he said Tinubu likes to talk before thinking. He said if police officers are withdrawn from VIPs, many people will be killed.
Kenneth Okonkwo stated that instead of withdrawing police protection from VIPs, the President should employ more personnel.
According to Kenneth Okonkwo on his official X account;
“If you withdraw police protection from politicians, most of them, especially from APC will be shot almost immediately because of the anger of the people against them”. View, More,
