A murder suspect, Anthony Oghenetega has confessed to his role in the killing of a teenager, identified as Thompson Adams, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, detailing how the incident unfolded and the motive behind the act.
The confession was made during an interview from 2:07 on Sahara TV, where Oghenetega spoke about the circumstances surrounding the incident. His statement comes as police authorities continue their investigation into the killing, which has generated widespread outrage and concern among residents.
In his account, the suspect described how the victim was restrained and recorded before the incident took place. “I told him to sit down and then my associate put the chain and padlock on his leg. And we made videos of the victim. And then after we made the videos of the victim, my associate called me inside the room and told me ‘now we have all the videos and pictures we need, we should not let this guy live, he knows me to my family, if we let this guy go, he will bring his family to us’,” he said.
