Vanguard reports that Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, criticized the United States on Thursday for its decision to implement a naval blockade on Iranian ports.

He warned that this action would only exacerbate instability in the Gulf region and ultimately fail to achieve its intended objectives.

In an official statement, Pezeshkian emphasized that the blockade violates established international norms, stating, “Any effort to impose a maritime blockade or restrictions contradicts international law… and is destined to fail.”
