In a recent video shared on Facebook, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC) Worldwide, Primate Elijah Ayodele, delivered a direct message to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, concerning his political future and prospects ahead of the 2027 elections.
The cleric stated firmly, “I’m giving you this correct statement: you cannot win; your win is under probability.” According to Ayodele, divine revelation shows that although Obi remains a major force in Nigeria’s political space, his chances of emerging victorious in the next presidential contest are slim unless there is a drastic shift in alliances and strategy.
Ayodele emphasized that Obi’s popularity and credibility are not in doubt, but he warned that political manipulation, internal divisions, and regional sentiments could weaken his chances. He urged the Labour Party to focus on building stronger coalitions and avoid overconfidence, stressing that “God is not saying Peter Obi will not be relevant, but his victory depends on divine intervention and unity among his supporters.”
