Ben Murray-Bruce, a former lawmaker representing Bayelsa East, has pledged his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking in an interview with TVC News Nigeria from 19:57, he acknowledged his strong relationship with Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Goodluck Jonathan, opposition figures who may also contest in 2027, but maintained his loyalty to President Tinubu.
He said: “All these other people are great friends of mine but right now, I am voting and supporting President Bola Tinubu. That doesn’t mean I don’t like the other guys, that doesn’t mean they aren’t my friends. That doesn’t mean I am not going to have dinner with them tomorrow morning. Me and Peter Obi, we are going to hang out, he is my very dear friend but Tinubu is who I am voting for, this is who I support.”
He made it clear that his unwavering support for the President would not, in any way, affect his relationship with these other aspirants, whom he described as great friends.
Murray-Bruce also expressed optimism that President Tinubu would be re-elected in 2027 to fulfill his vision of leading Nigeria to the promised land.
“I have been in PDP from inception, now I have moved to the APC. In my life and career, I am not known as a prostitute. I am here with Bola Tinubu. He is the candidate, he is going to run and he is going to win by a landslide and he is going to lead us to the promised land.” See, More, Here>>>
