‎‎According to a report by Daily Post on Monday, October 6, 2025, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has stated that the growing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State is driven by genuine love for President Bola Tinubu and a shared vision for development, not money.

‎Kalu made this known while addressing a large gathering of supporters and party faithful at Abia Hotels in Umuahia.

‎He said the APC’s movement in the state is inspired by commitment to progress and preparation for the 2027 elections.

‎According to him, some critics wrongly believe that political gatherings are sponsored or influenced by money.

‎He stressed that what is happening in Abia is different, describing the crowd as “organic” and motivated by faith in the leadership of President Tinubu.

‎Kalu noted that their passion reflects the rising momentum that will define the political landscape in the coming years.

‎The Deputy Speaker said the movement represents a new political awakening in Abia.

‎He described the support as a symbol of unity between the people and the federal government.

‎According to him, the energy and enthusiasm shown by the crowd prove that the people are ready to work for positive change.
