Primate Elijah Ayodele, the head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has warned against underestimating the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as the 2027 presidential election approaches.
In a recent Facebook video from 3:01, Ayodele advised President Bola Tinubu and other political figures to recognize the party’s potential, cautioning that it could become a surprising contender.
“Don’t underestimate the ADC; I’m telling you, Tinubu, don’t overlook them,” Ayodele stated, emphasizing that the party could gain unexpected traction in the upcoming election. He added that, unless significant spiritual forces are activated to disrupt the party, it might find a way to achieve victory.
According to him, “They may have chances of winning except they do a very powerful spiritual spell to scatter them, and to frustrate them.”
The cleric also forecasted that the elections in 2027 would result in disappointment and unease among Nigerians, noting that frustrations could significantly influence the political climate.
“People will feel frustrated in 2027,” he stated, implying that voter discontent might prevail during that time.
Regarding Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who ran in the 2023 election, Ayodele maintained that he would encounter challenges that could hinder his chances of gaining power in the upcoming election cycle.
“Obi won’t succeed in 2027; they will hinder him,” he stated, rejecting rumors that Obi could come back stronger in the competition.
Ayodele is recognized for his provocative political predictions, which frequently generate discussion and attract both criticism and interest nationwide.
His recent statement contributes to the ongoing discussions regarding the landscape of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election, where political parties are already planning alliances and positioning themselves for influence.
