There have been several reactions from social media users after Shehu Sani, a well-known PDP chieftain and former senator from Kaduna, proposed a solution to the ongoing Kano Emirate crisis.
In a recent post made by Shehu on his official X handle, he suggested that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should conduct an election to resolve the crisis.
He even offered to serve as the returning officer, and suggested the use of BIVAS (Biometric Voter Accreditation System) to ensure a credible process.
Shehu Sani post reads: “Inec should just be invited to conduct election for the two contending Emirs,I can volunteer to serve as the returning officer.Bivas can be used.”
