Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, has dismissed concerns about his fitness to rule, stating that the focus should be on the country’s pressing issues rather than his personal qualifications. In an interview with Arise News from 33:11, Obi expressed confidence in his abilities, saying he is “fit to be the President of Nigeria” and “competent” to lead the country.

Obi emphasized that he can stand tall against other candidates, matching them in terms of education, fitness, and background. He urged Nigerians to evaluate his credentials and compare them to those of his competitors, expressing optimism that his track record and qualifications will speak for themselves.

In his words;

“We’ve bad results over the place. That’s what we should focus on, not whether Peter Obi is fit or not.
