In a recent interview from 15:27 on Arise TV, Senator Victor Umeh, representing Anambra Central under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), spoke on the evolving dynamics within Nigeria’s opposition and the challenges of building consensus ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the interview, Umeh stated, “I thought he would step down for younger people to contest, but he says he is contesting.” He used the statement to reflect his views on the continued presidential ambition of Atiku Abubakar amid calls for generational shift in leadership.
