Paschal Amadi, who is a suspect in the death of Emmanuel Nwaneniya, claimed that the revelation of money on the victim’s phone only occurred after the device was examined following the event.
In an interview from 4:18 on Arise News on Sunday, August 2, 2026, Amadi shared more details about what happened regarding the death of Emmanuel Nwaneniya. The suspect, who had previously confessed to giving a veterinary drug to the deceased, asserted that he utilized medicine from his animal treatment stock and mentioned that the matter of money arose only when the victim’s phone was accessed.
Amadi stated, “I used one of the drugs that I apply for animal treatment on him. It was when they looked at his phone, that my friend discovered there was money.”
The suspect clarified that he raises animals and commonly uses veterinary drugs while treating them. He claimed that one of these medications was given to Emmanuel Nwaneniya, acknowledging that this action was a mistake he had already admitted to.
