Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide has dared the APC to publish the said letter of commendation extended to President Tinubu.
According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle on Thursday July 23rd, 2026 she pointed out that the presidency recycled an old commendation letter to score cheap political points.
The presidency, it can be recalled, had announced that president Donald Trump extended a commendation letter to President Tinubu on his achievements in the fight against insecurity.
However, while many disputed the content of the letter, Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC took to her official X handle to drop a bombshell.
In her statements, she accused the presidency of recycling an old commendation letter, which she believed was extended to President Tinubu between 2024 and 2025 in response to his congratulatory message to President Donald Trump.
She further dared the presidency to publish the said commendation letter, arguing that no letter of commendation from President Donald Trump was received in 2026.
