Former spokesperson of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Kenneth Okonkwo, has highlighted instances where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s supposed supporters suddenly backtracked to criticize his present administration.
Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, he mentioned Jesutega Onokpasa as a good example, noting that he was once a strong supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He revealed that the APC chieftain has now suddenly begun criticising the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which says a lot about his performance so far in office.
Kenneth Okonkwo pointed out clearly that Jesutega Onokpasa questioned Tinubu’s administrative style and also went further to call him a one-term president.
“Now, the APC people, Onokpasa to be precise, he said he doesn’t know where this man administrative style came from, that he has no business in Aso Rock and that they will ensure he doesn’t smell there and does not have second term that he is a one-term President.” he revealed in the interview.
Kenneth Okonkwo also claimed that people from the Southwest, particularly from Omo Eko, where President Tinubu claims to be his very own town, were the ones who complained heavily about the harsh economic conditions of this government. He believed that complaints from Tinubu’s supporters alone clearly show the administration hasn’t lived up to expectations.
