Kenneth Okonkwo, a lawyer and political analyst, has shared his opinion about President Bola Tinubu’s political style. He said that, in his view, the only thing Tinubu has remained consistent about is his desire for power and money.
Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Okonkwo said that Tinubu supported Babatunde Fashola to become Governor of Lagos State. However, he said that after Fashola began modernizing Lagos, problems developed between them, and the issue was mainly about money.
Okonkwo also talked about former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. He stated that Ambode faced similar issues that Fashola faced during his time in office. He said he knows about this because he was in the APC then.
In Okonkwo’s words: “He put Fashola in power, they had problems. Fashola was the first person that started modernizing Lagos, the issue was money. Ambode was there, I was in APC. That is the only thing in my own opinion that he is consistent about”
