According to a report from Vanguard Newspaper on Saturday, April 19, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the former Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has asserted that President Bola Tinubu is poised for defeat in the 2027 elections. Appearing on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ program, Baba-Ahmed expressed his conviction that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) must acknowledge its impending loss.

“If Tinubu is truly a wise politician, he should reconsider his bid for re-election,” Baba-Ahmed stated, emphasizing that the political landscape is shifting against the incumbent. He pointed out that the APC’s track record over the past years suggests a lack of faith from the electorate.

Baba-Ahmed further elaborated on Tinubu’s political history, describing him as a “super smart politician” who has orchestrated electoral strategies since 2007. “He has nominated various candidates over the years, culminating in what many consider an electoral heist in 2023,” he remarked.

In a significant revelation, Baba-Ahmed hinted at two potential candidates who could effectively challenge Tinubu in 2027. While he did not disclose their identities, he emphasized their capability to unite the opposition and galvanize public support. “These candidates represent a fresh hope for Nigerians, contrasting sharply with the current administration’s failures,” he noted.

Baba-Ahmed criticized Tinubu’s inability to fulfill his campaign promises, asserting, “The APC has proven to be a facade. Under Buhari, we saw no real development, and Tinubu will not change that narrative. Would You Like To Get More News? Just Click The Button Below.
