According to the Nation News, The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ceased to be a viable political force the moment Atiku Abubakar joined, according to Architect Ahmed Dangiwa, Minister for Housing and Urban Development.
Dangiwa blamed the party’s problems on a lack of funding, saying that no one in its ranks is prepared to contribute to it, in an interview with The Nation in Abuja. Atiku Abubakar doesn’t finance parties; he’s just like a snake. Dangiwa claimed that he solely raises funds to win primaries before leaving the party.
However, He compared this to the strategy of President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing Tinubu’s financial support of the APC and its campaigns. However, Tinubu provided funding for our campaigns and party. Who in the SDP will do that, please? Is it El-Rufai or someone else?” he asked. Dangiwa acknowledged the political obstacles that lie ahead and acknowledged that opponents may attempt to dissuade northern voters by accusing Tinubu of being to blame for economic woes.
“Yes, I am aware that we will face challenges in the upcoming election as they would have influenced the opinions of ordinary Northerners by claiming Tinubu brought poverty, hunger, and other issues,” he stated. Nonetheless, he was upbeat about Nigeria’s economic recovery, saying that Nigerians now have a higher standard of living and more hope.
He Said; “If you remove Tinubu, who will you bring? Tinubu has given us all the needed tools to build our states.’
