Abuja barber, Kallystouch, has found himself catapulted into social media stardom after a clash with Afrobeat sensation Davido on Instagram.
What began as a spat in the comment section of Davido’s page quickly transformed into a windfall for the barber, as thousands flocked to his profile in solidarity and support.
The confrontation ensued when Davido received criticism regarding his standing in the music industry.
Not one to shy away from a debate, Davido engaged with the commenter, who happened to be Kallystouch.
Their exchange of words caught the attention of fans and onlookers alike, with many expressing surprise at the superstar’s involvement in such a petty exchange.
Following the clash, supporters of rival artist Wizkid, known collectively as the “Wizkid FC,” flooded Kallystouch’s page, offering their support and solidarity against Davido.
Before the incident, Kallystouch only had about 1,119 followers on the platform.
However, in the wake of the clash and subsequent influx of followers, his follower count surged to 23,900 in just a matter of hours.
