Just after Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term as the 47th President of the United States in the video from 0:01, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a congratulatory speech, reaffirming the deep ties between Israel and the United States and expressing his confidence in their continued partnership.

In his words, Natanyahu said:

“Your first term as US President was filled with groundbreaking moments in the history of greater alliance between Israel and the USA. You withdrew from the dangerous Iran nùclear bòmb, you recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. You moved the American embassy to Jerusalem, you recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. You also brokered the historic Abraham Accords, through which Israel made peace with four Arab countries.

“I believe that working together again, we would raise the Israeli alliance to even greater heights. I am confident that we will defeat the Iran terror axis and usher in a new era of peace and prosperity for our region.

“On behalf of the people of Israel, I also want to thank you for your efforts in helping and freeing Israeli hostages.

“I will work tirelessly with you to free hostages, defeat Hamas, and end its rule in Gaza.”

Netanyahu’s speech was a strong reaffirmation of his unwavering belief in Trump’s leadership and the continued strength of U.S.-Israel relations. His words reflected not only gratitude but also a call to action, signaling his determination to work alongside the United States in confronting shared regional challenges. As both leaders embark on another chapter together, their alliance is poised to shape the future of the Middle East in ways that could redefine diplomatic and security dynamics for years to come.
