The Presidency has reacted after the governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed told popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Sani Jingir that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu does not listen to people.

According to VANGUARD, the governor of Bauchi state, while speaking with Sheikh Jingir, confirmed that he is not on good terms with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He said it’s because the current administration has brought so much suffering upon the people. He said aside that, the President doesn’t have a listening ear.

He was quoted as saying that;

“It is true that we are not on good terms with him (Tinubu) because our brothers and sisters are suffering. Even we, the governors, are suffering. Aside from his policies, he does not listen to us”.

Reacting to the statement that was made by the governor of Bauchi state, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Public Communications, Sunday Dare said Mohammed should stop using the President to repair his vanishing image.

In the statement that Sunday Dare released on Friday, he said Mohammed should focus on solving the numerous problems in his state.

He was quoted as saying that;

“Governor Bala should face governance and stop using President Tinubu to burnish his vanishing image. Governor Bala is playing Irresponsible Politics. Rather, he should occupy himself with dealing with the many problems of his state. Ambition is made of sterner stuff”.
