A variety of reactions have emerged in response to the significant number of women who demonstrated in favor of the emergency rule announced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Rivers State.
A video shared on CHANNELS TV’s official X account displayed a large, uniformed crowd moving around while singing and dancing during their demonstration.
This occurred following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s suspension of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu, and all members of the Rivers State House of Assembly for six months.
After the suspension, the President appointed Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas as the Sole Administrator for Rivers State.
