Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media to the former governor of Rivers state and FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has taken to his official X account on Monday, July 28, 2025 to react after seeing a photo of the former governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose sitting among some members of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
According to Channels TV, the former governor of Ekiti state endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ekiti state governor, Abiodun Oyebanji and his deputy ahead of the forthcoming elections.
In the picture that surfaced online, Ayodele Fayose was captured wearing a PDP cap and sitting with the APC chieftains.

Reacting, Lere Olayinka said there are PDP members joining the coalition in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, while there are some PDP members joining the All Progressive Congress, APC. He said everyone should be allowed to join any coalition.
