A group of women from Bonny gathered recently to protest peacefully, asking for the return of Governor Siminalayi Fubara. The women were upset about Fubara’s six-month suspension from office, and they made it clear they want him back as governor.

In a video that was shared by SYMFONI TV, One of the women passionately said, “Wike is the one who gave us Sim Fubara as the project for Rivers State. Now he is saying he doesn’t want that project anymore. But we, the women of Bonny, are saying no to that. Sim is our project, and we stand with him.”

The women were not angry or violent. They carried out their protest in peace, holding signs and speaking from their hearts. They believe Sim Fubara is the right person to lead and want President Tinubu and others in power to know how important he is to them.

When asked what they would do if Sim Fubara is not brought back after the six-month suspension, one of the women replied calmly. “We are peaceful and we will keep praying for him. We believe in God and in prayer. We trust that things will change, even before the six months are over. But no matter what happens, we will not cause any trouble.”

The women of Bonny have shown unity and strength. They’ve made their demand clear: they want Governor Fubara back. And through prayer and peace, they’re standing strong for what they believe in.
