According to a report by the Punch News on Saturday, November 15, 2025, Nkiruka Okeke, a mother of four whose husband, Oluzuluike, was stabbed to death, has revealed that after she heard that her husband had been stabbed, she ran to the hospital and saw him. She said that her husband told her that it was herdsmen that stabbed him in his chest.
Nkiruka Okeke recalled a man rushing to their house, shouting her name and telling her to hurry. Her husband had been taken to the hospital. She was confused and terrified. When she asked what happened, he said her husband was stabbed by herdsmen. She rushed to the hospital and found her husband lying there. He whispered, “The herdsmen stabbed me in the chest.” Those were his last words. After that, he couldn’t speak again.
She said the doctors told her husband needed to be transferred to the University Teaching Hospital right away, but he passed away before morning.
