According to a report by the Vanguard News on November 22, 2025, Adesuyi Joshua, one of the victims of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) attack by bandits in Eruku, has claimed that as they were pursuing the bandits, when they go to the station, they security officials Tear-Gassed them and allowed the bandits escape.
