General Christopher Musa, Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, recently spoke about a difficult moment when the military was unable to obtain visas for an essential trip.

In a video posted by Symfoni TV, Gen. Musa took an optimistic stance, saying, “Not getting the visa turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It serves as a strong reminder that we must rely on ourselves.”

His words conveyed the belief that obstacles can create opportunities for self-improvement and national strength.

Gen. Musa’s statement underscored the importance of perseverance and unity, especially for the military and the country at large.

He acknowledged that while partnerships with other nations are valuable, Nigeria must develop the ability to stand independently in matters of security and national progress.
