Chidi Lloyd, the former Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area has explained what Nyesom Wike meant when he made a strong statement about “putting fire” in the states of PDP governors who support Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara.

In a recent video shared by TVC from 3:52, Lloyd said Wike didn’t mean that he would actually start fires in those states and his statement was not meant to be taken literally. He said Wike was warning that if the governors interfere with his control over the PDP in Rivers State, he has the power to cause political problems in their states too.

According to Lloyd, Wike is a powerful figure within the PDP and he has significant influence and connections across Nigeria.

In Lloyd’s words: “When Wike said he will put fire it is an allegory, he didn’t mean he will go to those states and set fire in those states. What he is saying is that if you interfere in my state, I also have the capacity to interfere with your state. Recall that Wike came second in the very well contested primaries so he has the structures across the federation. That is what he is trying to tell them”….S££Môrê
