Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Nigerian senate, has commended the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the significant growth and development in the country since his inauguration.
The Tinubu-led administration, which is over two years old, had received criticisms from many Nigerians, most especially members of the opposition, but yet, the president had continued to govern in the interest of citizens.
However, in the video posted by Channels Television, during a plenary session, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, appreciated one of the lawmakers who expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Akpabio maintained that the lawmaker had been seen attending meetings with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), a party bent on unseating President Bola Tinubu, but yet decided to acknowledge the good work of the president.
