The family of the late elder statesman, Edwin Clark, has revealed that Governor Siminalayi Fubara was someone the elder statesman deeply cared about.
In a video shared by Symfoni TV, Clark’s family member stated that about three weeks before his death, Clark had a brief health crisis. He said despite that, Clark spent time praying and calling out Fubara’s name. He said this showed that Clark cared very much about Fubara.
The family member further revealed that Clark had given clear instructions on what should be done if anything happened to him. He said Clark named three individuals who should be the first to be informed of anything that happens to him and Fubara was among those three.
In his words: “About 3 weeks earlier when he had slight crisis and he was praying, your name Fubara was one of the names he was calling and he was shouting no shaking. He prayed and prayed for you. So it shows the love he had for you”
